A pre-buy checklist for Mulebuy finds
This is the slower part of browsing that saves money. Run through it before a listing leaves your shortlist, then use it again when warehouse photos arrive.
1. Product match
Confirm the source link, product title, selected option, color, size, and version. If the listing has several batches or color names, write down the exact option before ordering.
2. Price and total cost
Compare the current price with similar items in the same category. Then estimate shipping weight, box size, and whether the item is still worth buying after international shipping.
3. Photo evidence
Look for multiple angles, closeups, and detail shots. One polished product image is not enough for shoes, bags, accessories, or electronics.
4. Sizing and measurements
Use measurements where possible. Clothing and shoes are the easiest places to make a mistake if you rely on the size label alone.
5. Seller or source consistency
Search for repeated comments or compare similar rows. One complaint can be noise; the same complaint across several notes is a pattern.
6. Category risk
Electronics carry different risk than a tee. Bags need hardware checks. Shoes need batch comparisons. Treat each category differently.
7. QC request
Before the item reaches the warehouse, decide which photo would make or break the decision: outsole, size tag, chest width, zipper, interior bag photo, accessory set, or plug detail.
8. Exit rule
If the listing still leaves a basic question unanswered, skip it or mark it for later. A spreadsheet should make decisions clearer, not bigger.
Ready to compare items?
Start broad if you need ideas, then narrow by category, source, size, QC concern, and total cost once you know what you are looking for.
